The Spiritual purpose: To connect with the source

  • Gratefulness for life.
  • Gratitude for life.
  • Thankfulness for life.
  • Grace

The Spiritual Alignment is the recognition and development of a relationship with The Higher Power.  It is a recognition of the Power that created the universe, the galaxy, and our world.  The power that created the creatures of our world, and most amazingly the recognition of being spiritual creature, living in a human form. See yourself as a cup of water from the ocean, removed from the complete power of the ocean but still a part of the ocean.  We are a part of the energy of creation and we need to have a connection to the "Source" to help us live a life in balance with authentic power.

As we move through our life we find that connection by being quiet and listening.  Seeking to make a connection with the Source, we meditate or pray to establish a partnership and a dialogue with the Source. No thought goes unheard and when you pray or meditate on finding peace, harmony, happiness, or any other matter of your heart; that energy goes out and will be answered.  Learning to listen, to be aware, to be ready to hear the answer completes the alignment process.  It is a journey and the answer can take time before it manifests itself to you.   Zukav says, "when you pray/meditate, you draw to you and invoke grace.  Grace is uncontaminated conscious Light.  It is divinity.  Prayer brings grace and grace calms you.  Grace is the tranquilizer of the soul."

Meditation, like running or any other physical activity, takes practice to make it a part of your life routine.  Take time every day, whether it is for a minute or for an hour, to work on your ability to be still and be open to all the energy that is around you.  Grasp how small we are in the larger picture of life and how precious our time here is.  Be amazed at the miracles of life and how the universe flows on and on without effort -  just creating.  Listen and receive what is there waiting for you to find!

Have gratitude; be humble in the realization that we are flowing back to the divinity through our journey in life.
